Pytarion Velkahn

Pytarion Velkahn keeps their spellbook in a bone-leather case that snaps shut with a thumb claw. Between castings they rub elongated canines against a copper ring, counting the sparks that pop from their focus-stone. Their animal eyes track exits in every room; they’ll scribble a counterspell mid-conversation and grin when it annoys the priest. When the moon turns, their thick hair bristles and their claws come out to write.
