Hrumstha Vorzog

Hrumstha Vorzog hauls her drum of dried gut and carved bone like it’s a second spine, tall enough that she has to duck doorways to keep from brushing lintels. Her coarse brown-red fur is patched with bark-tar where she’s healed and re-tied herself after field burns. When storms roll in, she refuses to shelter early—she marks the wind with chalk on her gauntlets, then speaks in measured calls only the nearest animals answer.
