Vrothik's stone-grey skin bears the elaborate geometric tattoos of their mountain monastery—spiraling patterns that map the joints of shoulders and spine like a scholar's annotations on well-worn flesh. At seven and a half feet, they move with unsettling grace, each step economical and deliberate, their massive frame folded into itself as if perpetually ready to unfold into violence. The pale blue of their eyes carries an unsettling clarity, noticing everything: the beggar's stolen bread, the guard's trembling hand on his sword hilt, the child who didn't deserve hunger. They wear little—a single wrap across the chest, meditation beads looped twice around one wrist—and keep their bald head unmarked by vanity or superstition, preferring the truth of their own stone-colored skin. When they speak, their voice emerges quiet and measured, as if each word has been weighed against their own judgment. A thin scar traces the length of their left forearm where they once refused to strike, and they touch it now without thinking, a habit born not of regret but of remembering what they chose.
