Thal'drakis Blackshroud

Thal’drakis Blackshroud wears a ranger’s coat the color of soot, its hem weighted with iron shavings to keep it from lifting in drafts. Where his face should catch light, his skin swallows it; his dark eyes track in silence. At lawful hours he marks trees with ash-and-blood sigils, then wipes them clean with a rag of salt. When hunted, shadow wisps crawl from his sleeves to redraw his footprints.
