Klyzhar Varnok

Klyzhar Varnok wears temple-gray plates and oak struts bolted through his ribs; his jaw hinges squeak whenever he prays. A cracked faceplate shows two thumb-sized prayer-beads of amber glass that warm before he smites. When others bow, Klyzhar spits out a chant and walks forward—then counts the fallen like parts to be repaired. His shield bears clawed tally-marks, not dates.
