She’s a big minotaur woman with short black fur, dark eyes, and broad horns notched like tally marks; she drags the scars of old contracts across her knuckles with a stylus. In taverns she conducts crowds like staff: orders the room, counts the tips twice, and won’t start a song until every chair faces the same way.
