Born to a noble house renowned for its knights, Spellrend trained in the arts of chivalry and swordplay from youth. When a malevolent enemy threatened their family’s legacy, they forged a desperate pact with a fiend, bestowing them with the Hexblade's power and imbuing their weapon with dark, eldritch energy. Their pseudodragon familiar emerged during the pact’s ritual, a gift and guardian linked to the patron's mysterious designs.
