Voryth Blackthorn

Voryth Quorril has blue-green skin, narrow cheekbones, pointed ears, and silver eyes with black pupils. Long, white hair is braided with red coral beads and falls to his waist. Four thin gill slits mark each side of his neck. He wears black scaled leather armor, a teal sash, and carries twin curved daggers in shell-handled sheaths.

Raised in the depths of Vaj'ok on the island of Xiosha I scrounge together what I could to survive. Turning to thievery and deciet at a young age I honed my skills of deception and trickery. One night I broke into a wizard's dwellings by the name of, Ugron, on the surface world to attempt to steal a rare artifact in hopes of selling it on the underwater market. The wizard had cast a powerful protection spell on the artifact and captured me during the theft. Ugron took pitty on me and taught me the ways of the arcane arts to give me a new chance at life. I studied for many years under Ugron but tragety struck when a trained assassin took his life. After Ugron's death I went back to my criminal ways to locate his killer. I took a job with a crew from the Underdark that required me to be in deep cover for several years eventually picking up the language. I took the job because I had Intel that Ugron's killer was in the organization I would be infiltrating. During the job I narrowed down my suspect pool to one person. This person wore a gold amulate with an emerald stone setting. At a party one evening I was set to strike. I confronted whome I thought was the assassin on the balcony and they tried to escape. I Slashed at the assassin's neck and their body fell to the floor, the amulate fell next to the body. I retrieved the amulate from the ground but not before a party attendant saw me pocket it. Seeing that they witnessed me I attempted to escape as the alarm bells rang and the words "murder! There's been a murder!" echoing through the halls. I escaped by the rooftops and dove back into Vaj'ok where my underwater cavern was located and waited for the heat to pass. Knowing that I must escape I had heard of a pirate captain in search of a crew with promises of riches and freedom. I located the captain and became part of his crew to make my escape.
