Description: A light-absorbing obsidian blade with jagged, saw-like teeth near the hilt, curving out into a sharp, geometric diamond hook at the point.

Not much is known about the origin of this particular scimitar, but the Hell-Hook Scimitar has been made infamous by the Infernal Bounty Hunter Rhylen Gorrdax who used it as his signature weapon of choice for years while he was a part of the armies of the nine hells. He still wields this one but he now roams the mortal plane as a bounty hunter in search for prey worth his unique skill and interests. In combat he uses it as more of a hook-sword weapon than a more traditional scimitar. But the weapon matches his personality and reputation beautifully, though there doesn't seem to be any inherent magical properties to the blade itself, given Rhylen's reputation and cunning, who can know for sure...

NPC Prowess Use:

• Disarming Catch (Reaction to disarm a melee attacker who misses him)

• Dragging Hook (Replaces attack damage to pull a target 10ft or knock them prone).

Player Looted Perks:
- Vicious Tear: Rolling a 20 on an attack roll inflicts a bleeding wound dealing 1d6 necrotic damage at the start of the target's turns for 1 minute (DC 13 Con save ends).
- Hook & Reel: As a bonus action, force a creature within 5 feet to make a Strength save (DC = 8 + Prof + Str/Dex) or be knocked prone.
