Rylan the Conjurer

Raised in a wealthy household on the Sword Coast. As a youth he and Caladryn were inseparable troublemakers. He later discovered that his father was a former Red Wizard of Thay who had fled into exile after falling in love with Rylan’s elven mother (a former slave). His father trained him in conjuration magic. When Caladryn left to adventure, Rylan joined him without hesitation. The two have traveled and worked as mercenaries together ever since. Rylan continues to refine his conjuration abilities while staying at his friend’s side.

Charming, witty, and quick with a dry remark. He is pragmatic and curious, with a strong interest in knowledge and power. Loyal to those he considers his own, especially Caladryn. He enjoys teasing his friends (particularly about romantic matters) but is reliable when it counts. Comfortable with moral gray areas if the result benefits the group.
