Raised in Velprin, the human-dominated coastal region of Aglarond, which left him feeling like an outsider even in a half-elven nation. As a teenager he traveled into the Yuirwood, where he trained with a traditional druidic circle among the ancient menhirs of the Yuir elves. He reached too eagerly for the fading high magic of the place and was cast out for it. The same unstable Yuir magic later inducted him into the Avenger tradition rites that traded some of his physical vitality for primal power and a handful of true wizard spells. Afterward he began walking west with no fixed destination, gaining experience through hard travel and close calls. He eventually crossed paths with the party, fought alongside them, and later chose to continue north with them when their paths aligned again.

Curious and adventurous above all else. He has a strong hunger to understand things firsthand rather than through doctrine or teaching. Watchful and self-contained around strangers, slow to trust structure or belonging. He warms up most quickly to people who share his curiosity. Not driven by ideology — mysteries and raw, unexplained power interest him far more than causes or creeds.
