Mitzi Giblin

Mitzi is a female goblin with some halfling ancestry. She is about 3'3" tall, with a slim build from years of malnutrition. She has black hair cut to bob length, with a few small braids holding colorful beads, stones, shells, and feathers. She wears a sleeveless dress with colorful skirt with numerous pockets and space for custom embroidery. She also wears short leather boots and a colorful cloak. She wears a leather belt that can hold many things (pouches, vials, trinkets, daggers), and has a magic crystal ball in a macrame net that rests on her hip. She carries a staff that is actually the broken-off top half of a human-sized staff, onto which she attaches small trinkets that she finds in her travels (pretty stones, dinosaur scales, monster claws, interesting shells).

Mitzi has a grackle-shaped birthmark between her shoulder blades, which her eidolon, Slick, emerges from when summoned. She has a tattoo of a jungle tree with multiple gem birds in or around its branches on her left upper arm, with each tattooed bird representing a distinct magical tattoo that she can tap into once per day. On her right forearm, another tattoo in black ink stretches up from her fingertips to her shoulder, constantly growing as she experiences interesting things in life, mapping her travels and accomplishments. She has three small, thin lies tattooed at the outside corners of each of her eyes, which grant her long-distance vision.

Mitzi is from The Pike, a massive bridge over a jungle isthmus that connects two sister Port cities, Bolox and Kakaani. The people of The Pike typically live in poverty and are not regarded as true citizens of either Bolox or Kakaani, and are often subjected to social and economic abuses from both cities. The region oversees the transport of 90% of the world's trade, with The Pike connecting the world's two largest oceans - it is a highly populated area that sees insanely high traffic across the bridge each day. The Pike is made up mostly of dwarves, halflings, and goblins.

Mitzi is a 20-year-old female Goblin who grew up in the Easthallow neighborhood of The Pike. She is an orphan who grew up in the undercity of the bridge, and has experienced severe poverty and social ostracization for much of her life. However, she has always been determined to look for something more in life, and has formed a core group of friends among the retirees of Easthallow, who have taught her numerous languages, social graces, history, and politics, among other things.

Mitzi is a revolutionary who, as she has learned more about her home, has come to believe that the only path forward is Pike Independence, to be fully free of Bolox's constant oppression She often hands out literature to tourists, caravan workers, pirates, and travelers to try to educate them about the poor treatment of Pike Residents, the crimes committed against them, and the resilience of the population in spite of their numerous hurdles in life.

Mitzi is a summoner whose power comes from her eidolon, Slick. Slick typically takes the form of a grackle with iridescent black feathers, bright golden eyes, and small gemstones scattered through his tail. Mitzi carries a staff that is actually the broken-off top half of a human-sized staff, onto which she attaches small trinkets that she finds in her travels (pretty stones, dinosaur scales, monster claws, interesting shells). Her summoner powers manifest by calling animals from the local environment to come to her aid in combat; this ranges from alligators to gem birds (parrot-like birds with gem-covered feathers).

Mitzi is also an Oracle of Time, someone who has visions rooted in the travel of her consciousness back and forward in time. Her visions mostly come to her in dreams, which she sketches in a sketchbook that she always has on her person. She has recently acquired a magic crystal ball, which she carries in a macrame net on her hip; she doesn't fully understand how to use the ball yet, but it has so far helped her to access at least one powerful vision of the future.

Mitzi is a chaotic-good character who actively seeks to improve the world for others. She is a revolutionary, who seeks independence for The Pike in order to ensure a better future for other Pike Residents. She is not a particularly violent person and would much rather approach things diplomatically, but Mitzi has pretty low diplomacy and is often considered to be uncouth by people from wealthier and more privileged places. She has a pretty pragmatic approach to most things and will often just say what's on her mind, and only considers the social repercussions after the fact. She is very fast for a goblin, and is always on the move.
