You spent your formative years in a monastery dedicated to the Triad—Torm, Tyr, and, above all for your order, Ilmater, god of endurance and martyrdom. There you learned to perform sacred rites, counsel the troubled, and aid those who suffer. You are a member of the Order of the Gauntlet, seekers of justice who protect others from evildoers.

Shelter of the Faithful. You and your companions can receive aid at any site dedicated to the Triad or one of its member deities, especially Ilmater. You must provide any material components for spells cast on your behalf. Those who share your religion support you at a modest lifestyle.

You can find common ground between the fiercest enemies. You listen for the hurt beneath an insult, name the grievance both sides share, and keep speaking until violence is no longer the only answer.

You always try to help those in need, no matter the personal cost. Everything you do is meant to protect common folk from cruelty, corruption, and the reach of evildoers.

You place too much trust in those who profess to share your faith. A familiar holy symbol, a well-rehearsed prayer, or a promise made in Ilmater’s name can lower your guard long before a stranger has earned it.
