Tiefling, Druid, Neutral

Description

A pretty female Tiefling with completely black eyes, wearing a dark green, dirty cloak. She carries a quarterstaff grown through with shelf mushrooms and soft fungal growth. Her beauty is softened by unsettling details: bits of moss cling to her horns, pale spores drift from the staff when she moves, and damp earth stains her hands and boots. Her presence is creepy and weird without feeling hostile; she smiles readily and offers helpful advice in a warm, friendly voice.

Personality

She greets strangers like old friends, remembers their names, and keeps useful herbs tucked into every pocket. Her friendliness becomes unsettling when she discusses rot, carrion, or the insects living beneath someone’s skin. She tilts her head while listening, never blinks with her black eyes, and brushes stray spores from her quarterstaff as if feeding a pet. She laughs at the wrong moments but never mocks another person’s fear.

Flaws

She treats decay as ordinary and forgets that others do not. She brings home bones, beetles, and rotting branches without asking permission, then grows offended when anyone throws them away. Her need to help can become invasive: she will clean a wound, remove a curse, or prune infected flesh before considering whether the patient agreed. When frightened, she smiles too brightly and starts talking to the mushrooms on her staff.
