Backstory
Ondrienne was born from a secret relationship between a Sea Elf servant in the royal household and the King of Selu'Maraar, a powerful Sea Elf kingdom situated in the Sea of Fallen Stars. Their relationship was kept hidden, as the King was destined to marry the daughter of a powerful noble family with significant military influence. He initially viewed the pregnancy as a political inconvenience. Soon after Ondrienne's conception, strange phenomena began occurring around the underwater palace. The King eventually connected them to his unborn daughter after witnessing the Maraari Leviathan, a legendary sea serpent worshipped in Selu'Maraar that had disappeared three hundred years ago. Believing Ondrienne might possess the power to control it, he saw her as a potential weapon.
After her birth, Ondrienne's mother refused to surrender her daughter to the King's ambitions. The King killed her but spared Ondrienne, raising her as his eldest daughter and secretly having her trained by the royal druid. Years later, an exiled servant who had known her mother revealed the truth. Consumed by rage, Ondrienne lost control and transformed into the Maraari Leviathan, finally understanding why the King had kept her alive. She plotted against the royal family, killed the King's three heirs, and ultimately executed him, claiming the throne of Selu'Maraar.
Yet as Queen, Ondrienne gradually became the very tyrant she had once despised. Realizing what she had become, she abdicated and exiled herself. She now wanders the deepest reaches of the sea, watching over Selu'Maraar from afar and remaining ready to protect the kingdom should any threat arise.
Personality
Ondrienne is strong-willed and expressive, fiercely protective of those around her. She despises those who abuse their power, particularly nobles and the ruling class, yet has a soft spot for sea creatures.
