Born of parents, mom died at birth, father killed in battle when Beataine was age 3. No siblings. Scratche and lauded his way to adulthood. An elf taught him compassion but Bealtine knew mostly fighting for survival. So ideas of right and wrong not always distinguishable, but means to do right.
