Myndara Kalthar
Firbolg, Druid, Neutral Good
Description
Myndara stands well over seven feet tall, her broad frame wrapped in robes dyed with deep forest greens and earthen browns. Her skin bears a subtle pinkish hue, soft and slightly veined like weathered bark. Long, gently tapered ears peek from beneath a tangle of ash-blond hair streaked with mossy green, framing gentle cow-like eyes set beneath a wide, flat nose. She carries a gnarled wooden staff wrapped in woven vine and scattered feathers, and the faint scent of damp earth clings to her. Thick, calloused hands show years spent touching bark and root.
Backstory
Raised in a secluded Firbolg enclave nestled in an ancient forest, Myndara cultivated a bond with the land from childhood, learning to track, heal, and shape the wilderness around her. This life changed when a creeping blight began corrupting her home’s trees and streams. She ventured beyond the enclave’s borders, embracing the path of the druid to seek remedies and allies. Now, she moves through the wilds and towns alike, driven by a quiet hope to nurture balance wherever she treads.
Personality
Myndara’s voice holds a calm steadiness, often lingering thoughtfully before she replies. She tends to listen more than speak, nodding slowly and tapping the side of her staff when considering others’ thoughts. Though patient and warm, she shows impatience when nature’s balance is disrupted, and her gaze hardens. She avoids conflict unless necessary, preferring diplomacy—and dislikes being rushed or hurried. Myndara secretly worries her gentle nature may leave her too vulnerable to those who exploit kindness.
