Ylfen
Tiefling, Sorcerer, Chaotic Good
Description
Ylfen is about twenty years old and stands 6 feet 1 inch tall, with the graceful, slender frame of elven ancestry and the athletic poise of a Tiefling. His smooth skin is a light lilac hue, perpetually cool to the touch; each breath catches faintly in the air like a crisp winter morning. Brilliant snow-white hair, inherited from his elven father, falls long down his back in neat braids that frame his sharp features. His eyes are completely ink-black, without visible sclera or pupils, giving his gaze a piercing, unreadable depth. Medium-sized horns sweep back from his forehead, hardened into sharp, translucent crystalline ice that sparkles like frosted glass—a permanent mark of his awakening power in Cania. His mother’s dark purple obsidian crystal hangs from his left horn on a fine silver chain, carrying a subtle inner warmth. A long, expressive lilac tail curls and sways with his mood, especially when his chaotic, playful energy escapes his control. He wears magical robes in deep emerald green, traced with silver lines. Though he bears Tiefling features, nothing about him is fiendish in spirit; his magic is wild, wintry, and fiercely his own.
Personality
Ylfen treats rules as suggestions and solemn plans as invitations to improvise. He talks with his hands, grins when danger appears, and lets his tail announce his mood before his voice does. His sorcery answers emotion faster than thought: a startled laugh may frost a tabletop, while a burst of anger can turn the air around him bitterly cold. He gives strangers nicknames, pockets interesting stones, and cannot resist touching a magical object marked “do not touch.” Beneath the mischief, he has a strict line he will not cross: no one gets abandoned while he can still help.
