Unnamed Turtlelion

A bulky, bipedal turtlelion with stone-textured skin and a broad, strong-jawed head shaped like a hairy Chinese dragon. Its enormous shell is rough, moss-covered, and mottled like weathered stone. A living tree grows from the shell, its roots gripping the ridges; a lantern hangs from one of the branches. The creature uses a runic kanabo as a walking staff and counterweight.
